336-002 25kN 3 Point Flexure Bend Attachment - BS EN 13748-1

This 3 Point flexure bend attachment was designed for testing the flexural strength of Terrazzo Tiles.

The attachment consists of two parts, and upper and a lower;

- The Upper attachment has a self-aligning single point of contact.

- The Lower attachment has variable span twin points of contact, one of which is self-aligning - this is to accomodate the profile of the tiles which may be uneven - keeping the application of the force perpendicular to the tile.

NEW Compression Platens for U-Series

We have just addes nine new platens to our range of Compression platens, these are for use with our U-Series machine.

The New platens are available in 3 different capacities, 100kN, 150kN, and 300kN.

The Platens also come in 3 different Diameters, 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm.

123-005 50kN Hydraulic Geotextile grip

This hefty grip was designed for a customer who was testing geotextiles. The grip weighs a whopping 60kg (approx) but is required in order to meet the requirements of the material.

These grips have a maximum clamping force of 200kN, with a maximum tensile load of 50kN. They accommodate samples to with a maximum width of 200mm, and maximum sample thickness of 14mm. The maximum hydraulic pressure is 700 bar.

We have engineered similar grips for different tensile loads, and clamping strengths - ideally for use on our U-Series machine.

137-008 Self Tightening Double Bollard Cord Grip

Our engineers took inspiration from the world of 'Yachting' when designing this grip. It is a variation of our existing HT32 grip which has a manual clamp.

The 137-008 Self Tightening Double Bollard Cord Grip has sprung loaded eccentric clamp rollers which increases the gripping pressure with cord tension.

These are rated at 20kN Max capacity.
