123-005 50kN Hydraulic Geotextile grip
This hefty grip was designed for a customer who was testing geotextiles. The grip weighs a whopping 60kg (approx) but is required in order to meet the requirements of the material. These grips have a maximum clamping force of 200kN, with a maximum tensile load of 50kN. They accommodate samples to with a maximum width of 200mm, and maximum sample thickness of 14mm. The maximum hydraulic pressure is 700 bar. We have engineered similar grips for different tensile loads, and clamping strengths - ideally for use on our U-Series machine .
